Details on the Math Apps
The Math Apps are designed to illustrate various mathematical or scientific concepts. They are also designed to illustrate how to Maple code can be used to support the interactive components that add another dimension to your own Maple worksheets.
Each of these Math Apps includes one or more interactive components.
To inspect, copy, or change any part of these worksheets, including the code supporting the interactive components, first make the worksheet editable: In the status bar at the bottom of the Maple window, select the Editable check box( ).
Then, to inspect the code behind a Math App, select a component and in the Context Panel select Edit ... Code.
For the majority of Math Apps, the actual code for carrying out the various component actions is stored in the startup code of the worksheet. To see this code, choose Startup Code from the main Edit menu (or click the small gear icon on the toolbar, whose tooltip says Edit startup code).
A number of these Math Apps are parts of more complete topic worksheets that can be found at the Maplesoft Teacher Resource Center and that can be freely downloaded and used in your own teaching or other Maple work.
