Calling Sequence

cuboid(a, b, options)

Parameters

a, b

-

two points in 3-D

options

-

(optional) equations of the form option=value. For a complete list, see plot3d/option.

Description

•

The cuboid command creates a three-dimensional plot data object, which when displayed is a cuboid whose space diagonal has endpoints a and b.

•

The plot data object produced by the cuboid command can be used in a PLOT3D data structure, or displayed using the plots:-display command.

•

Remaining arguments are interpreted as options, which are specified as equations of the form option = value. For more information, see plottools and plot3d/option.

Examples

withplottools:

withplots:

displaycuboid0,0,0,1,1,1,lightmodel=light2,shading=none

The following is an example of animating a cuboid by rotating the orientation around an axis:

displayseqdisplaycuboid0,0,0,1,1,1,axes=none,scaling=constrained,orientation=0,45,i,i=0..360,20,insequence=true
