Create a Favorites Palette of Commonly Used Expressions and Entities
By default, Maple provides an Favorites palette where you can add expressions and entities that you use frequently. The palette is initially empty. You can add items from other palettes or add your own custom 2-D math expressions.
To add an expression or entity from another palette to the Favorites palette:
Drag and drop the expression or entity from another palette into the Favorites palette.
Alternatively,
Open the context panel, if it is not already open.
Select the expression in the worksheet.
Select Add Selection to Favorites Palette. The expression is added to the Favorites palette.
To add your own expression to the Favorites palette:
Create the 2-D math expression in a document.
Select the expression.
Drag and drop the expression into the Favorites palette. Alternatively, from the Context Panel for the expression, select Add Selection to Favorites Palette.
You can reorder the items in the Favorites palette using drag and drop.
To remove an item from the Favorites palette, right-click (Control-click, for Mac) the item and select Remove from Favorites Palette.
