Using the Mathematics and Engineering Dictionary
The Maple Mathematics and Engineering Dictionary provides over 5000 mathematical and engineering definitions.
The definitions can be accessed as help pages:
Through hyperlinks in a worksheet or help page
Using the ? command
Using the search facilities in the Maple Help System
To visually distinguish dictionary entry hyperlinks from other hyperlinks in a help page or worksheet, they appear as rust-colored.
When you access a definition through a worksheet or help page link, short definitions are displayed as popups. You can change this setting in the Interface tab of the Options dialog.
Portions of the material in the dictionary are used with the permission of MathResources Inc.
