Changing the Icon for a CAD Subsystem
You can change the icon for a CAD subsystem in the Feature Detect window after the CAD subsystem has been created.
To change the icon for a CAD subsystem:
Drag the CAD subsystem onto the Model Workspace, and then double-click on it.
Orient the part in the CAD Workspace to the desired view by rotating, panning, or zooming.
Note: The view determines what image will be used for the icon as well as the position of the ports on the icon. For details on port positioning, see Port Positioning Details on Coords and Ports.
Click Capture Screenshot ( ).
Click Accept and Return ( ), and then click OK.
All instances of the CAD subsystem in the Model Workspace and the Hierarchy will be updated with the new icon and port positions.
