The Tree View
Use the Tree View in the MapleSim CAD Toolbox to navigate and organize your model.
Toggle Coordinates Tree View ( ) changes the Tree View to see all coordinates in the Tree View.
Toggle to Display Only Visible Objects ( ) changes the Tree View to see only visible objects.
Create Group ( ) creates a new group.
Properties ( ) opens the Properties dialog for the selected objects.
The nodes in the Tree View represent parts (bodies ( ) and sheets )), groups ( ), coordinates ( ), and reference coordinates ( ).
To rename items from the Tree View, press Ctrl + R and enter a new name in the name field.
To move items in or out of a group, you can drag and drop in the Tree View.
Note: After importing your CAD model into MapleSim, you cannot edit the objects that make up the group.
