Method Summary
The com.maplesoft.openmaple.Name class represents a Maple name. Name publicly inherits from Algebraic and therefore provides all the member functions from the Algebraic class in addition to those listed here.
To create a Name, call newName with a string representing the name to be created.
void assign( Algebraic val ) throws MapleException
assign assigns a value to the name.
boolean isAssigned( ) throws MapleException
isAssigned returns true if the name has been assigned a value and false otherwise.
