short shortValue() throws MapleException

Description

• 

The shortValue function returns the value represented in the Numeric as a Java short.  If the value does not fit exactly into a Java short, an error is raised.

• 

To determine if the value fits within a Java short, use the isShort function.

Executing this code produces the following output.

false
