Summary Variables
The Contact Roller component models a roller that can make or lose contact with the web.
The Contact Roller component must be between two Span components.
Using the provided 1-D rotational flange, flangec, the Contact Roller component can model a pull roller. To accommodate the dynamics of contact, slippage is always enabled.
Consider the straight line connecting the start of the left span to the end of the right span; the projection of the center point of the roller must always be on this line, even when not in contact with the web.
When in contact with the web, this component is identical to the Roller with Include Slippage=true.
