Overview of the Battery Library
The battery library provides you with Modelica-based components to model the battery packs used in automotive, mobile devices, or grid systems based on both electrochemical and equivalent circuit representations. The battery models feature SoC (State of Charge), electrochemical diffusion, intercalation, side reactions, and thermal effects.
Using the battery library, you can study the electric and thermal behaviors of a battery for a given set of material properties. The code-optimized battery models have been validated using measurement data. These models enable you to investigate the influence of various design parameters such as the choice of materials, dimensions, and electrochemical properties. You can simulate the battery in different model settings and operating conditions and for different applications.
