Gearbox
Realistic model of a gearbox
Description
Connections
Parameters
Modelica Standard Library
The Gearbox component models the essential effects of a gearbox, in particular, losses due to bearing friction and sliding friction in the teeth, elasticity, damping, and backlash. Inertia is not modeled. The component consists of a Lossy Gear component and a Elasto-Backlash component connected in series.
