Force

External force from an input signal

Modelica Standard Library

	Description
	The Force component generates a force proportional to the input signal. The Use Support Flange boolean parameter enables a support flange on the housing. When true (checked) the support flange must be connected in the drawing. When false the component is internally fixed to ground.

	Equations
	$f_{flange} = - f$ $if Use Support Flange then f_{support} = - f$ $s = s_{flange} - {\begin{array}{c} s_{support} & Use Support \\ 0 & otherwise \end{array}$
