Controlled Ideal Intermediate Switch
Controlled ideal intermediate switch
Description
Connections
Parameters
Modelica Standard Library
The Controlled Ideal Intermediate Switch models a four-terminal, two-pole, electrical switch controlled by an analog signal. When the signal value is greater than the threshold value defined by the level parameter, the switch is in the cross-connection mode and the (isolated) common terminals are connected to the opposing diagonal terminals; otherwise, the switch is in the parallel-connection mode and the common terminals are connected to the opposing parallel terminals.
To prevent singularities during switching, the opened switch has a (very low) conductance Goff and the closed switch has a (very low) resistance Ron.
