The Hall Sensor component is a high-level model of a Hall-effect sensor used to monitor the shaft position of a motor. It multiplies the shaft angle by the number of pole-pairs, p to obtain the electrical angle and adds a correction term, the initial angle of the flange, φ0. Shaft position φ0 should correspond to maximum flux linkage of phase 1. The output is a piecewise-continuous signal with value between 0 and 2⁢π.
