The library components that model magnetic material with hysteresis are records that define the hysteresis curves for selected magnetic materials. The parameter-based records use parameters that define the curves, the table-based records use tables of data.

To use a magnetic material, place an instance of it in the diagram, then modify the material parameter of the magnet component that uses it to match the instance name of the material. In a hierarchical model (one with subsystems) a magnetic material instance can be used by a component at the same or lower level.
