Description

The length of the coil shape is displayed between the points at which frame_a and frame_b are connected in the model workspace. In the 3-D Visualization Area, the windings of the coil surround the implicit geometry.

If you connect this shape to the frames of a single component,

the coil shape is displayed over the implicit geometry that represents the component in the 3-D Visualization Area.

If you connect this component to the frames of two different modeling components,

the coil shape spans multiple components.
