Subsystem "..." contains a dangling connection extending from port "..."
This message appears in the Console if you delete a component that was previously connected to another component and its unattached connection line remains in the Model Workspace. An x is displayed where the line is unattached. Models with unattached connection lines cannot be simulated in MapleSim.
To solve a dangling connection, do one of the following:
Connect another compatible modeling component to the unattached line end.
Delete the connection line from the Model Workspace by right-clicking (Control-click for Macintosh) the message in the debugging console and selecting Remove connection. Alternatively, to delete the line, select the connection line in the Model Workspace and press the Delete key.
Exclude the connection line from the next simulation that you run by right- or Control-clicking the message in the debugging console and selecting Disable connection. Alternatively, to exclude the line, select the connection line in the Model Workspace and click enable/disable ( ) in the Model Workspace Toolbar.
