Exporting a Model to an Image File

You can export a MapleSim model to a .png, .gif, .jpg, or .bmp file if you want to insert an image of that model into another document (for example, a slide show or a design document). In the image file, the content is exported exactly as it appears in the Model Workspace.

To export a model to an image file:

1. Browse to the Model Workspace view that you want to export to the image file. You may want to zoom into or out from the model or display the detailed view of certain components.

2. In the File menu, select Export as Image > 2-D.

3. In the Select File dialog box, navigate to the directory in which you want to save the image.

4. Enter a name for the file and click Save.
