Searching for MapleSim Resources

The search bar is located in the Main toolbar.

To search for a MapleSim resource, enter a term in the search bar. Resources containing your term will appear automatically in a list below the search bar.

Searches are grouped into the following sections:

•

Local Components: Shared subsystems in your current model and components in your Hierarchy. To add a component to your model, drag the component name to the Model Workspace.

•

Examples: Models that come with MapleSim and MapleSim Add-ons. Click on a result to open the model in MapleSim.

•

Model Gallery Results: Models from the MapleSim Model Gallery. Click on a result to visit the model page in your web browser.

•

Help Results: MapleSim and Maple help pages. Click on a result to open the page in the MapleSim help system.

Tips:

•

Click the arrow in the section title to collapse or expand the section. The state of the section (that is, collapsed or expanded) is preserved in subsequent searches.

•

Each section shows a limited number of results by default. To see more results for a section, place your pointer over More Search Results....

•

When you hover over a component name, a tooltip with the component's icon appears to help you identify the component.

•

Click on a component name to add it to the Model Workspace. The component is added to the top-left corner of the Model Workspace. Alternatively, you can drag the component name to place it anywhere on the Model Workspace.
