Searching for MapleSim Resources
The search bar is located in the Main toolbar.
To search for a MapleSim resource, enter a term in the search bar. Resources containing your term will appear automatically in a list below the search bar.
Searches are grouped into the following sections:
Library Components: Components that come with MapleSim, MapleSim Add-ons, and Custom Library components. To add a component to your model, drag the component name to the Model Workspace.
Local Components: Shared subsystems in your current model and components in your Hierarchy. To add a component to your model, drag the component name to the Model Workspace.
Examples: Models that come with MapleSim and MapleSim Add-ons. Click on a result to open the model in MapleSim.
Model Gallery Results: Models from the MapleSim Model Gallery. Click on a result to visit the model page in your web browser.
Help Results: MapleSim and Maple help pages. Click on a result to open the page in the MapleSim help system.
Tips:
Click the arrow in the section title to collapse or expand the section. The state of the section (that is, collapsed or expanded) is preserved in subsequent searches.
Each section shows a limited number of results by default. To see more results for a section, place your pointer over More Search Results....
When you hover over a component name, a tooltip with the component's icon appears to help you identify the component.
Click on a component name to add it to the Model Workspace. The component is added to the top-left corner of the Model Workspace. Alternatively, you can drag the component name to place it anywhere on the Model Workspace.
