Hiding and Displaying Tooltips and Inline Descriptions
You can hide and display descriptions that appear for each parameter field in the Properties tab. If you are using a Windows or Macintosh operating system, you can display the parameter field descriptions in Tooltips, Inline Descriptions that appear when you click a field, or in both forms. You can also hide one or both types of parameter field descriptions. If you are using a Linux operating system, you can hide and display parameter field descriptions in tooltips only.
To display Tooltips:
Click Tooltips ( ) at the top of the Properties tab ( ).
When you hover over a field, you will see descriptive tooltips.
To display Inline Descriptions:
Click Inline Descriptions ( ) at the top of the Properties tab ( ).
When you click a field, you will see an inline description.
To hide parameter field descriptions:
Click Tooltips ( ), Inline Descriptions ( ), or both options.
