Using a Parameter Set in a Simulation

You can run a simulation using values from a previously saved parameter set. For more information about creating and saving a parameter set, see Saving and Applying Parameter Sets.

To apply a parameter set from the Model Tree tab

1. 

From the Attached Files tab ( ) expand Parameter Sets and right-click on a set of values.  The Parameter Set context menu appears.

2. 

Select Use.  A confirmation window appears.  Click OK to accept the current values or Cancel to make another selection.  A check mark appears beside a selected set of values.

To apply a parameter set from the Properties tab

1. 

From the Attached Files tab ( ) expand Parameter Sets and click on a set of values.  The Parameter Set Name and Description fields appears in the Properties tab ( ).

2. 

From the Properties tab click Use ( ) to accept the new Parameter Set.  A confirmation window appears.

3. 

Click OK to accept the current values or Cancel to make another selection.  A check mark appears beside the selected Parameter Set.

Note: You cannot modify and save an existing parameter set without deleting, renaming or creating a new one.

You can now simulate your model using the new values.
