Section A-6: Coordinate Geometry
Introduction
Many examples in the calculus make use of expressions built from constructs in coordinate (analytic) geometry. The following examples show how to implement some of these in Maple.

Example A-6.1
Obtain the slope, midpoint, length of the line segment, and equation of the line connecting the points −3,5 and 7,2.
Example A-6.2
Obtain the equation of the perpendicular bisector of the line segment connecting the points 7,−3 and 4,−5.
