Adding a Shape that Displays an Image File

Supported file formats are .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .png, .bmp, .tif, .tiff, .jfx, .pnm, and .fpx.

To add a shape that displays an image file

1. 

Do one of the following:

• 

To draw a rectangle, from the toolbar, click the    tool from the Annotations toolbar.

• 

To draw an oval, from the toolbar, click the  tool.

2. 

(Optional) To select a color for the outline, click the drawing outline tool ( ) and select a color using a color selection tool.

3. 

To select an image to display in the shape, click the drawing fill tool ( ) and click Browse...

4. 

In the Load Image dialog box, select the image file that you want to display in the shape and click Open.

5. 

(Optional) From the line menu ( ), select a style and thickness for the shape outline.

6. 

To draw the shape, click and drag your mouse pointer in the Model Workspace.

7. 

When the shape is the size that you want, release your mouse button. The image file is displayed in the shape.
