The Analysis Window
The Analysis window contains the results from your simulation (including a 3-D animation playback window for multibody models), the 3-D Workspace that shows a 3-D visualization of your multibody system, and the Apps that are currently open. The Analysis window contains the following tabs:
Simulation Results ( ): displays simulation graphs, tools for managing your simulation results, and the 3-D Playback window (for multibody models).
Rerun Simulation ( ) displays simulation graphs, tunable parameters, initial conditions, etc for rerun simulations and a button to run the simulation.
3-D Workspace ( ): contains the 3-D Workspace and displays a 3-D rendering of your multibody model (including CAD drawings). You can also build a multibody model here.
Apps Manager ( ): when you open Apps from the Apps palette, they open here.
Modelica Code Editor ( ): lets you create custom components using the Modelica programming language.

To access the Analysis window:
First, simulate your model. When the simulation finishes, the Analysis window opens. The Simulation Results tab is selected by default.
From the View menu, select Show Simulation Results. Alternatively, from the MapleSim main toolbar, click Show Simulation Results ( or ).
From the View menu, select Show Rerun Panel. Alternatively, from the MapleSim main toolbar, click Show Rerun Panel ( ).
From the View menu, select Show 3-D Workspace. The Analysis window opens with the 3-D Workspace tab selected. Alternatively, from the MapleSim main toolbar, click Show 3-D Workspace ( ).
From the View menu, select Show Apps Manager. The Analysis window opens with the Apps Manager tab selected. Alternatively, from the MapleSim main toolbar, click Show Apps Manager ( ).
From the View menu, select Show Modelica Code Editor. The Analysis window opens with the with the Modelica Code Editor tab selected. Alternatively, from the MapleSim main toolbar, click Show Modelica Code Editor ( ).
There are two other settings in the Analysis window:
The Always-On-Top ( ): keeps the Analysis window in focus even when you are working in another MapleSim window. This is useful when you want to work in the Model Workspace of the MapleSim window and at the same time see how the 3-D rendering of your model changes as you add, remove, and configure multibody components.
The Show/Hide ( or ) will expand and collapse the pane, respectively.
