The Categories subpackage allows you to control the appearance of section delimiters in a top-level context-sensitive menu.
Frequently, context-sensitive menus group related concepts into distinct sections or categories within a menu. A category is an association between a menu entry and a name (the category) that allows menu entries with identical categories to be grouped together when displayed in a context-sensitive menu.
Using the Categories subpackage you can:
- Set or change the category for a given menu entry with the Categories:-Set command.
- Find the category associated with a menu entry with the Categories:-Get command.
- List all currently defined categories with Categories:-List.
Each command in the Categories subpackage can be accessed by using either the long form or the short form of the command name in the command calling sequence.
The long form, Categories:-command, is always available. The short form can be used after loading the package.
The following is a list of available commands.
