Maple Internal Format (.m)
Maple Internal Format
Description
Maple Internal Format is a binary file format used by Maple to store procedures in a more compact, easy-for-Maple-to-read format. Objects stored in this internal format can be read by Maple faster than objects stored in Maple Language Format.
By convention filenames for Maple Internal Format files terminate in .m. Note this file format is distinct from formats associated with the extension .m used by other products.
Maple Internal Format files are created using the save statement and read using the read statement.
Multiple internal format files can combined into a single file as a Maple Library Archive (mla) file.
