Overview of Visualization in MultivariateCalculus
The visualization functionality of the MultivariateCalculus package is provided to enable an instructor to demonstrate and a student to understand a range of multivariate calculus concepts both visually and computationally.
The following is a list of the available Student:-MultivariateCalculus visualization routines.
ApproximateInt
CenterOfMass
CrossSection
DirectionalDerivative
Gradient
LagrangeMultipliers
SurfaceArea
TaylorApproximation
The colors used for the various components of the plots produced by the visualization routines can be adjusted by calling the Student:-SetColors command.
See the Student:-MultivariateCalculus help page for a general introduction to the MultivariateCalculus subpackage of the Student package and a list of interactive routines.
