Chapters
Help: managing the contents of a book
Selecting the type of content
Chapters are added according to their type, in the following order; legal, preface, chapter, appendix, index. A book can have multiple chapters and appendices, but only one legal and preface.
To specify the type of content you are adding to your ebook, select the desired type from the Type list box, found in the Add Chapter table.
Appending, inserting, or replacing a chapter in a book
Note: If you are adding a chapter to a blank book, the first chapter is automatically labeled as chapter 1.
Manually enter the path to the worksheet you want to insert or click the Browse button to find the worksheet. Then do any of the following:
To append a chapter to an existing list of chapters associated with a book , click the Add button.
If you want to insert a chapter between two existing chapters, enter the chapter number for the chapter you wish to insert in the Number field, then click the Insert button. All chapters are automatically renumbered accordingly.
To replace a chapter, enter the number of the chapter you want to replace in the Number field, then click the Replace button.
Removing a chapter from a book
All book chapters are listed in the Defined Chapters table. To remove a chapter, select the chapter from the Chapter list box, in the Remove Chapter table, then click the Remove button. Once the chapter has been removed, the remaining chapters are automatically renumbered. The Defined Chapters table is updated accordingly.

By default the language code used in the eBook Publisher is English. To change the language code, enter your ISO 639-1 language code in the Language text field.
The eBook Publisher labels the top sections of a chapter, creates an index, and creates a two-level table of contents (TOC) by default. To suppress the automatic creation of an index, or to suppress automatic labeling of sections, uncheck the Create index box, or Autolabel sections box, respectively.
Adusting Autolabel depth and TOC depth
To set the maximum depth of section labeling, enter the desired depth in the Autolabel depth field. Similarly, enter a value in the TOC depth field to set the maximum depth for the table of contents.
Notes
It is recommended that either .jpeg or .png image formats be used for the EPUB cover page.
