Additional Notes
All content in the worksheet must be enclosed in one section.
The title of this section becomes the title of the chapter of the book.
Any worksheet subsections inserted into this main worksheet section correspond to sections of the chapter.
Exception: This title is ignored for appendix and glossary chapters.
Paragraphs cannot follow a section. Sample of correct organization:
Chapter 1
Item 1
Section 1
Item 2
Item 3
Section 2
Item 4
Item 5
Incorrect organization - Item 6 is supposed to be inside Section 2 or in a new Section 3:
Item 6
Sections inside a table are not allowed.
eBookTools is designed to make the formatting in the output consistent and uniformly controlled by the appropriate style sheet. As a result, the following limitations apply to the formatting made in the worksheet:
Color: All color applied to text and table backgrounds is ignored. Color for Maple input, output, errors, and warnings is controlled by the corresponding settings.
Font: Only the Courier New and Monospaced fonts are preserved, and other font choices are ignored.
Maple Code: Maple code, both 1D and 2D, must be enclosed in an execution group.
Spacing: For paragraph styles, only the Left Margin indent property of the paragraph is used.
Whitespace: Extra whitespace is ignored in the text, but is preserved for monospaced fonts.
Equation labels will be numbered using flat numeric formatting prefaced by the chapter number. (For example, the 10th equation in chapter 2 will be labeled (2.10).)
Code edit regions will be expanded in the output.
Embedded data table components and math expression components will not display any content in the output.
Windows specific limitations:
only the following characters are allowed in the book name: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, space " ", comma ",", period ".", underscore "_" and dash "-".
in order to specify non-English characters for title and copyright use the eBook Publisher Assistant.
