Probes View
The Probes view of the Model Tree displays the probes in your model organized by Name. Select Probes from the list below the Find text box to enter Probes view.
Probe nodes have entries of the form Name (Level), where:
Name is the name of the probe.
Level is the full path to the model level of the probe (for example, Main or the name of the subsystem the probe is in).
General usage notes about the Probes view
Disabled probes appear in italics.
Right-click (Control-click for Macintosh) a probe to bring up its context-sensitive menu. All the Model Tree context menu options are available for probes, except for Expand/Collapse. The following context menu options are available only for probes:
Disable/Enable: Disables/enables the probe.
Reverse: Reverses the positive flow direction of the probe. (See Changing the Flow Direction of a Probe for more information about flow direction.)
To search for a probe:
From the Palettes Pane, select the Model Tree tab ( ).
Select Probes from the views list.
Enter a search term in the Find text box.
The model tree automatically updates to show the probes that contain your search term. Matches are highlighted in yellow.
