Changing the Flow Direction of a Probe
If you are measuring conserved quantities with a positive flow (for example, current or force), you can change the positive direction of the through variable to change the sign convention.
To change the flow direction of a probe
In the Model Workspace, select the probe for which you want to change the flow direction. Alternatively, you can select the probe that you want to edit in the Probes view of the Model Tree tab ( ).
In the Properties tab ( ), click reverse probe ( ). The sign convention flow direction of the conserved quantity reverses.
Alternatively, right-click (Control-click for Mac) a probe in the Model Workspace, and select Reverse Probe.
