Adding a Variable to a Simulation Graph
If you want to compare multiple curves in the same simulation graph, you can add a variable to an existing simulation graph.
To add a variable to a simulation graph:
Select a variable from the Variables palette and drag it onto a plot.
To add a variable to a simulation graph using the Variables palette buttons:
Select a variable from the Variables palette of the Simulation Results tab.
Select a plot.
Click Add Selected Variable to Selected Plot ( ).
If you select multiple variables (by using Ctrl-click, or Command-click on Mac), this adds all selected variables to the plot.
Alternatively, you can select a plot, and then right-click on a variable in the Variables palette. From the context-sensitive menu, select Add to Primary Plot Axis.
To remove a variable from a simulation graph, in the Plot Windows palette, under the name of the simulation graph, right-click the variable you want to remove and select Delete.
Notes:
If more than one stored result is selected when the variable is added to a plot, a curve is added for each selected stored result.
You cannot add a variable to the primary plot axis if it is already plotted on the secondary plot axis. If you try to plot the same variable on both primary and secondary axes, the Move Plot Variable dialog opens and asks if you want to move the variable to the primary axis. Click OK to move the variable to the primary axis.
