Creating a Custom MapleCloud Group

You can optionally create a custom group to share content with a specific group of Maple users from the MapleCloud window. When you create a custom group, you can control group membership and the content shared in your group.

By default, when you create a custom group, the group owner and all the approved members can view the content shared in the group and all members can share content. If you want to restrict who can view and share content, you can create a read-only or opaque custom group.

For more information about custom groups, see MapleCloud Groups.

To create a custom group:

1.

Click the MapleCloud icon on the Maple toolbar. If necessary, sign in to the MapleCloud Content Exchange.

2.

Click My Groups.  The Manage Groups window of the Maple Cloud opens.

3.

Click the Create Group button

4.

In the Group Name field, enter a name for your group.

5.

In the Group Description field, enter a brief description that will help others to identify your group.

6.

If you want to restrict who can view and share content, specify the permissions that you want to assign.
