Installing vs. Opening a Package Workbook

When you open a package workbook from the MapleCloud, you can use the package commands within that workbook.

However, if you want to be able to access those same package commands from within any Maple document, you must install the package workbook.

Installing a Package Workbook

To install a package workbook:

1.

Open the MapleCloud by clicking the MapleCloud icon on the right side of the toolbar, and then click Packages.

2.

Find the package you want to install from the list, then click install ( ) under the Actions column.

3.

The Installing Package window displays the progress of the download and install. Click Cancel to cancel the download and installation process.

4.

The package is installed into maple/toolbox/PackageName subdirectory of your Maple home directory. You can find the path to your Maple home directory by executing the command kernelopts(homedir).

5.
