Setting the Autoexecute Feature
The Autoexecute feature allows you to designate regions of a worksheet for automatic execution.
When a region is set to autoexecute, the Autoexecute icon ( ) is displayed in the marker pane. To view this, you must set the worksheet interface to display markers. See Markers for more information.

Select the region that must be automatically executed when the worksheet opens.
From the Evaluate menu, select Set Selection to Autoexecute.
Note: If you have set a region set to autoexecute, and that content lies in a collapsed section, you might find that when the worksheet autoexecutes the section containing the autoexecute content is expanded. To turn off this behavior, see Control Automatically Expanding Sections.
To remove the autoexecute setting in a region:
Select the region to be cleared.
From the Evaluate menu, select Clear Selection from Autoexecute.
To remove all autoexecution in a worksheet, select Clear All Autoexecute.
To repeat autoexecution of marked groups:
From the Evaluate menu, select Repeat Autoexecute.
To set warning levels for the autoexecute feature, use the Security tab in the Options dialog.
