Click the plot to select it.

From the Plot menu, select Manipulator > Pan. Alternatively, click the Pan ( ) icon in the 2-D Plot Toolbar.

Move the cursor over the plot. The mouse pointer for panning is a hand.

Drag the mouse on the plot. Panning moves the plot view by changing the range.

Notes: The curve is recalculated for smartplots and non-parametric plots generated from the plot command, but parametric plots and other plots not generated from the plot command will not resample.

The pan feature is not available for the plots[polarplot] command.

Click the plot to select it.

Drag the mouse on the plot.  Panning changes the position of the plot in the anchored frame. Here, zooming and panning were used to change the view of the plot:

You can use the mouse scroll wheel to pan or scale on a plot.

To pan the plot with the mouse wheel:

Select the plot.

Click the Pan ( ) icon in the plotting toolbar.

Hold Ctrl (Control, on Mac) and rotate the mouse wheel.

To scale the plot with the mouse wheel:

Select the plot. Select either the Zoom in ( ) or Zoom out ( ) item in the 3-D Plot Toolbar.

Place your pointer on the plot and then rotate the mouse wheel. Scaling increases or decreases the size of the plot.  Note that the plot structure itself does not change.
