Volumetric Tire Models for Longitudinal Vehicle Dynamic Simulations

This project is the result of research conducted in the Department of Systems Design Engineering, University of Waterloo.

In this webinar, you will discover a new method for tire-road contact modelling, and how to derive the expressions for the forces and moments acting on the tire using volumetric formulation. These methods are improved with the use of symbolic mathematics offered by Maple and MapleSim.
