The book consists of two parts. The first part contains seven chapters and presents the software package Maple. The examples presented in these chapters increase the range of use of Maple on the Windows platform. Attention is devoted to practical use of Maple, which provides additional opportunities and facilitation of more solutions.
The algorithms of physical and engineering problems of the second part mainly use the finite element method (FEM). This part consists of eight chapters and solves, in Maple, physical and engineering problems from fields such as thermal conductivity, mechanics of deformable bodies, theory of elasticity, hydrodynamics, hydromechanics, etc. Application of Maple for solution of optimization problems is also presented.
