Description
The book includes chapters on basic calculations, drawing graphs, limits and continuity, derivatives, special functions, integrals, series, complex numbers and drawing polar graphs. In each chapter, basic concepts are first explained. Then, the students are provided with examples and graphs to help them understand the topics better. This book follows an applied approach to Calculus. In each chapter, corresponding Maple commands are introduced and used to solve example problems. Maple worksheets are also included in an accompanying computer disk. The target audience of this book are science and engineering students who are interested in solving real world problems.
