This is a hydraulic scissor lift system that combines multibody components with hydraulic components. The hydraulics circuit demonstrates the scissor lift motion by controlling the cylinder translational extension. The control shows the lift and hold capabilities while providing the hydraulic pressure by using a pump model driven by an on/off motor control. The plunger cylinder converts hydraulic flow into translational motion, and lifts a scissor mechanism and the associated gantry. At the top of the lift, the system holds for ‘tf’ seconds (LetDownLogic block). A let-down valve then opens, allowing the scissor mechanism to retract back down (with the descent throttled by the restriction of the hydraulic circuit). When fully retracted to the bottom, the scissor mechanism rests on a back-stop.
