This model shows a comparison between vehicles with and without ABS during braking. Both vehicles have hydraulic brakes on all wheels. One of the vehicle also has an anti-lock brake system (ABS). The brake command is applied after 3 seconds when both vehicles travel at 100 km/h. When this happens, the wheels on the car with no ABS are completely locked up (i.e., the car just slides on the road). Road condition is assumed to be icy.
