This model demonstrates how to model a web line with a rotational dancer. No special roller component is required for this application. The standard roller component has an option to add a frame. When this option is activated, two rollers can be connected to each other. With a revolute joint, it is possible to set a rotational point between the two rollers.The model shows how this roller can be used as a sensor. The speed and angle of the rotational dancer is measured. It is also possible to connect a drive to the revolute joint. In this case it is possible to build a control loop with a driven rotation dancer. This simulation scenario starts with the initialization phase of the model. The starting point is a web speed of 2m/s and a tension of 100N. The initial oscillation ends after 5s. At time 8s, the tension on the right side is increased. This leads to a movement of the rotational dancer.
