Determining of the eigenfrequencies in a Roll-to-Roll process

This model shows how a web handling model can be analyzed. By using a linear chirp signal as the system excitation, the system response can be calculated.
A linear chirp signal is a sinusoidal signal with linearly increasing frequency. In this example, the excitation occurs as a velocity signal on the right side. The probe detects the tensile force of the left web span and indicates the resonance points of the system.

The attached worksheet demonstrates how the frequency spectrum of this signal can be calculated. There are different variants plotted depending on the density and mass of roller R1.
