Power Line Interference – Multibody, Multi-Domain Physical Model in MapleSim – Maplesoft

Power Line Interference

This model represents a power line and a data bus that are coupled by mutual inductance and coupling capacitance. Spikes on the power line induce spikes on the data bus that exceed the tolerance of the communication protocol and result in errors.

  • PowerlineInterferenceDemo Subsystems can be copied for inclusion throughout the model, but can still maintain common parameters to simplify subsequent design changes.
  • PowerLineInterferencePlots Coupling between a data bus and nearby power line can cause data failures.
  • PowerLineInterferenceScematic PDEs can be discretized as a series of cascaded identical parameterized subsystems, which can simplify subsequent design changes.
